Description: WWAARC currently has a full-time IT Technician position available. The IT Technician will be responsible for providing technical support for the agency’s computer hardware, software and telecommunication systems, including coordination with external service providers. Will be required to provide technical support for staff at all agency sites across all three counties. Also, responsible for providing technical support of new IT initiatives and maintenance of existing systems. This position will be based out of our Albany location.

Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required, degree in Computer Science preferred, additional practical experience in lieu of technical degree considered. Knowledge of troubleshooting common hardware and software issues on endpoints (thin clients, desktop and laptops) and mobile devices (phones and tablets). Experience in Microsoft software, Office 365 a plus. Must be able to handle stressful situations and react to project adjustments and alternations promptly and efficiently. Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including senior management, and other departments including the people we support. Must possess the ability to manage a wide variety of tasks at any given time and effectively triage acute project issues.

Anticipated shift:

Monday – Friday          8:00am to 4:00pm
