HOW CAN YOU HELP WITH
WWAARC’S COVID-19 RELIEF FUND?
Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) are “Essential Workers”. We are in this together, and you may be asking yourself “How can I help?” Please consider helping the WWAARC Staff by contributing to the WWAARC COVID-19 Relief Fund!
WWAARC’s Direct Support Professionals continue to work around the clock to provide support and care for our nearly 1,000 people with intellectual and other developmental disabilities. We operate 43 Residences, 29 Supported Living Program (SLP) Apartments, Five Adult Day Programs, a Work Center, Community Employment and we have a free standing Respite Center. These programs are staffed 24/7 and involve close contact with people with differing abilities.
Our frontline professionals face the challenges of COVID-19 while trying to stay healthy themselves, they know that staying home is not possible. They are going above and beyond to care for the people we support. WWAARC’s programs are doing everything possible to maintain quality services, combat supply shortages, and provide a supportive environment for children and adults with intellectual and other disabilities during this difficult time.
We have created a COVID-19 Relief Fund to help defray the unexpected costs of PPE. During this pandemic, we are using daily PPE to keep our staff and the people we support protected. We are asking for your contribution which will assist WWAARC in maintaining the highest level of safety. Your donation will provide funds to purchase the much needed PPE while we navigate this crisis.
